President of Change Agent Foundation International (CAFI), Hon. (Dr.) Dipo Okeyomi (CARRY-GO), has urged Muslim faithful in the country to sustain the values and virtues which this festive period taught them in their day-to-day relationship with Allah and fellow human beings.
CARRY-GO in a statement by his media team, in commemoration of this year Eid-el-Kabir also urged all Nigerians and CAFIANS to remain steadfast and prayerful in the face of daunting socio-economic challenges caused by this unfriendly disease called COVID-19.
He said that the present challenges are surmountable “if we all realign our character and deeds in tune with the wishes of Allah”.
Okeyomi urged all Nigerians and CAFIANS across religious divide, to remain steadfast, prayerful and patriotic and more importantly uphold the virtues of moderation, piety, regular supplication to Allah and being our brother’s and sister's keeper.
"Beyond the Eid El Kabir celebration, every Nigerian should seek to contribute to rebuilding the nation with renewed vigour with a view to giving
peace a chance in the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir".
Carry Go similarly enjoined all to refrain from using violence to air views on issues. "Violence only destroy, it does not build. Let us also shun greed and other vices capable of undermining the socio-political growth of our dear nation,” he added.
"I felicitate with everyone for seeing the Eid el-Kabir festive period and say Happy Eid El Kabir to you all. May the blessings of this festive period be yours now and forever". AMIN
